Welcome back to the 100 Glorious Gardens legacy. In the last update Aspen stole $250,000 from the Master's household in Del Sol Valley. We used some of the money to upgrade the house. Kai aged up into a teenager. We traveled to high school with the three teens. Talla became enemies with Brandon Baker from the Joy of Life Legacy. The family celebrated Harvestfest and invited over a couple of other legacy families for a potluck. We went to prom with the teens where Leilani was crowned Prom Royalty and Talla was named Court Jester. We ended the update with Talla on her way to the Humor and Hijinks Festival.
Monday Afternoon
When we return to the 100 Glorious Gardens for week 2 we find Talla and her mom Aspen at the Humor and Hijinks festival.
They both decided to join the Pranksters.
Talla then played a joke on this group of sims by making a noxious cloud and blaming the smell on one of them.
Then Aspen and Talla shocked a few sims with the hand buzzer prank.
Aspen got this poor guy with the air horn.
Talla also tried some festival food and learned new recipe.
The Pranksters won the festival and the sky was lit up with pink/purple fireworks. Aspen and Talla both received $500, some fireworks, and a voodoo doll.
Tuesday
The next day we followed the teens to school. Talla was pretty excited to try out her new voodoo doll. I am having her work on the Chief of Mischief aspiration. She needs to bind the voodoo doll to someone and use it successfully 5 times.
She had to bind the voodoo doll to Brandon Baker. He is Talla's sworn enemy due how he treated Poppy Gutenburg at the end of the Whimsy Legacy Expanded update.
I am not sure if Brandon looks miserable because of Talla stabbing the voodoo doll or because he broke the school computer.
Then Talla attempted to place a stink bomb in Brandon's locker but it was taking too long so I had to cancel it so she would go to class.
Talla actually took detailed notes during class.
Everyone went to lunch.
Before heading to the career fair. It seems like the careers are always villian, spy, and chef. I wish we would get some other ones. I wonder if it is based on the career table. I will have to investigate that more.
Kai brought Ryder Travelers from the Postcard Legacy home with him after school. They tossed the football around for a bit.
Then it was time to celebrate Leilani's adult birthday.
I also aged up her boyfriend Dion Haunta.
They now have a wholesome romance dynamic.
Perhaps it should have been steamy because they celebrated their engagement with some woohoo.
Talla invited Daisy and Poppy over and the trio hung out in Talla's room talking and laughing.
Then it was time to move Leilani in with her fiance and his family. Thanks to all of Aspen's robberies she could afford to transfer $100000 over to the groom's family.
Wednesday
The next day, Aspen went to visit Leilani in her new home.
Talla took the day off from school, so she could join her mom. She clogged some drains and pranked some toilets.
Aspen stole this computer from her daughter's house.
Then Talla traveled to Tartosa and broke into the Baker's (Joy of Life) house.
She wanted to clog the sink and prank the toilet in Brandon's bathroom.
Then she went to Copperdale to attend the Chess Club Science Fair. Turns out Brandon was there, so Talla used the opportunity to poke the voodoo doll several times.
She also drenched it in water. I am not sure if it did anything or not as Brandon seemed pretty unphased.
The entire event was glitchy as Talla would just sit at the chess board and not actually do anything.
The judge spent the entire time doing cheer routines and she couldn't submit her score.
He did stop to do the judging but no winner was actually announced.
Back at home the family ate some dinner.
Aspen helped Talla with her homework. Then everyone went to bed.
Thursday
On Thursday I sent the kids off to school by themselves and spent the day with Aspen and Talla. They spent the morning fishing.
Had some lunch.
Tried out the archery set that Aspen stole from the Equidea family.
When the kids got home from school Duane played some chess with Talla.
Then Aspen mentored her daughter in mischief on the computer.
Then I sent everyone to bed. It was a pretty chill day with not a lot of excitement.
Friday
I never follow teens to high school on Fridays because I find they do better on exams when they go alone. So I once again spent the day with Duane with Aspen. They had some breakfast.
Duane did some more fishing while Aspen did some snorkeling.
Duane caught a clown fish which he gave to Talla. I thought a future comedian having a pet clown fish was fitting.
Talla worked on writing some jokes.
And then attended her first open mic night at a lounge in I think Nordhaven. She was really nervous at first.
But soon she had several sims watching her performance.
Back at home Kai returned home from football practice with a promotion to football teammate. He and Duane played video games.
The family did other things like eat and do homework but I decided not to take screenshots of those again. I did grab one of Talla though later asleep to mark the end of the day.
Saturday
On Saturday morning the family ate breakfast together as a family.
Then I sent everyone to the gym so Kai could work on his bodybuilder aspiration.
Her sister Leilani was also at the gym and walked in on her pranking toilets. We also learned that Leilani and Dion are expecting a baby.
Talla ran into Poppy and gave her a big hug.
Then she went back to clogging sinks and pranking toilets. I want to get her to level 8 of the mischief skill because I think she needs to get to that level before she can summon the urban myth for the Live Fast teen aspiration.
I then went with the teens to Prom. They voted for royalty and jester.
They danced.
Gathered to hear who won. This time Prom Royalty went to Zelmira Gnomes and Jester to Colt Travelers. I think this is the third time Colt as won jester.
Talla slow danced with a guy from chess club. I think his name is Edmund.
She laughed at cat videos with Ryder Travelers.
Everyone did some more dancing.
Kai slow danced with Luca Dominguez. It was a very fun prom.
The teens returned home and everyone went to bed.
Sunday
Kai and Talla worked on their homework while Aspen made breakfast.
Then everyone did a workout.
Aspen mentored Talla in Mischief. She is finally at level 8 in the mischief skill.
As part of the Life Fast aspiration Talla needs to go on 5 dates. I did learn that the ones from Lovestruck don't count. I had Talla ask her friend from Chess Club on a regular base game date. Since it didn't say the dates needed to be gold or silver I immediately ended the date, asked him on a second date, ended it early, started a third date, and so on.. I did that 5 times and it didn't seem to impact their friendship. After the 5th base game date I had her ask him on a "Get to Know You" Lovestruck Date. They flirted.
Built sand sculptures.
Did some more flirting.
The did some cloud gazing.
And gazed into each other's eyes.
Talla was a little stinky, so she took a quick bath in the open water, and then took some selfies while her date made them food.
They shared a first kiss.
Then Talla used a mirror to summon an Urban Legend. Fortunately nothing bad happened as I believe you can actually die doing this.
Talla and her date (Edward? Edmund?) kissed in the water.
When Talla got home she told her mom all about her date. They also decided to become Partners in Crime.
The family had dinner outside on the deck.
Monday Morning
Monday was Winterfest. The family decorated the tree together.
Then they opened some presents.
Leilani and Dion came over for lunch. Leilani posed for a selfie with her dad and siblings. I will have to get her to take one with Aspen at some point.
The family sat down for a grand feast.
Then they went to a holiday ceremony. Talla had a wonderful time and helped her remember what the holiday is really about.
When they got home, the family gathered in the living room to watch a movie together. At this point it is 5:30 pm and time to wrap up this rotation. Up next we will be in Chestnut Ridge with the Travelers family.
